The SA Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) has a very useful site providing a wide range of information about the South African economy and about doing business in South Africa. SAVANT (www.savant.co.za)

The dti also runs the SAVANT programme in partnership with the private ICT and electronics industry. The site provides information about this sector and some insight in several sub-segments. It also contains a searchable database of companies.

Centurion forms part of the Tshwane metropolitan local government (which includes Pretoria and Akasia) and the site of the metro council provides information about the area being administered.

Financial Institutions

The South Africa Reserve Bank  is located in the centre of Pretoria, within about 20 minutes drive from the Executive TWELVE apartments.

The four largest retail banks in the country are:

All of these banks have branches within the Centurion CBD and in shopping centres across the city. Their head offices and main operational units are mainly in Sandton and Johannesburg with some in Pretoria.
